Well, hello everyone; it is time yet again for another health suggestion article. For this post I will be covering twenty dangerous toys, the good news concerning this topic is that some/most if not all of these items have been recalled due to their potential hazards to human wellbeing. With that said let's get started.
1. Slip n Slide wasn't suitable for some teens or adults due to high risk of neck injuries.
2. Power Wheels Harley Davidson's accelerator would get stuck on the on position making it troublesome to stop; barbie dream campers faced a the same or similiar issue.
3. The Swing Wing was said to cause concussions, vertigo and spinal problems.
4. Kite tube was extremly dangerous as it was a kite that you ride pulled by a boat on a lake, the falls could be lethal.
5. The Bird of Paradise sling shot (do I need say more?)
6. Yo Yo Balls whether the cord could strangle, the ball could strike or the liquid inside was questioned for flammability and/or toxicity; the entire toy was criticized.
7. Splash off Water Rocket, sometimes it would explode sending projectiles at consumers..
8. Gilbert Glass blowing set- Left unsupervised could cause severe injuries or even housefires.
9. Magnetix; the small objects could cause intestinal perforations if swallowed. The company that created this product resisted recall for a long time.
10. Inflatable baby floats- could rip causing the baby to sink or potentially smother.
11. Austin Magic Pistol- Because giving kids a working Gun is always a good idea; not.
12. Hannah Montana Pop Star Card Game's case contained really high levels of Lead
13. Creepy Crawlers contains toxic chemicals and the oven was very hot.
14. Sky Rangers Park flyer Radio controlled Airplane would spontaneously combust causing facial lacerations, hearing lose, and of coarse burns.
15. CSI fingerprint examination kit, the powder contained asbestos leading to cancer and fatal respitory problems.
16. Moon shoes or as I like to call them ankle breakers.
17. Stats 38 quick folding trampoline- Marketed for Ages 6 and up, very unsafe.
18. Cabbage Patch SnackTime kids- A really bad way to hurt a finger or lose hair.
19. Gilbert (again) U-238 Atomic Energy Labatory (with real Uranium).
20. Zulu Blowing Game; a blow gun that posed a real choking hazard to kids.
