Who Is Mitocrodrial EVE!?!

Today I will be covering yet another post on creation science, more specifically how Mitochondrial DNA points to the veracity of scripture.

 It all began in the late 1980's when some geneticists did a study where they discovered 2 things using mitochondrial DNA. 1.) That all contemporary humans have the mitochondrial DNA from one female, we will call her "mitochondrial eve". Now let me be clear, Evolutionists don't believe she was the only female on earth at the time, just that her mitochondrial DNA just so happened to be the only one to survive to this point. 2.) When they calculated the mutation rates, they found out that it didn't give them the numbers they desired, namely the deep time ages that go along with the evolution hypothesis. 

A paper in "science" in 1998 admits if you use Mitochondrial DNA based strictly on it's known mutation rate, in other words the data, you get an age for eve in line with what the bible says of about 6,000 years. The guest speaker is Dr. Kevin Anderson, who has a phd in microbiology. They also have done the same thing with the y chromosome through the males, the supposed "problem" they ran into there was that there wasn't enough changes that occurred. In other words the mutation rate is way too low to calculate. So they give an age for y chromosome Adam as 280,000 years give or take 280,000 years. They just made up a figure with what they wanted, that is not how you do science.

So In Conclusion we see that Evolutionists ignore the data that goes against their worldview, and only favor the Evidence they can interpret to fit their hypothesis.
