Today we will be looking at the appearances of Jesus in the Old Testament as well as biblical figures who were or may be considered symbols of Christ. I will be aiming for 30 Christ types and appearances.

Is Self-Gratification a Sin?
Hello viewers, it seems that my topical study on self-gratification was mysteriously deleted some time ago. Well, I'm finally getting around to remaking it, fortunately I had a paper copy in my personal binders. Well, what follows is the article that was deleted plus a few additions (seen in blue). With that said here is the article that I am republishing.

False Statements of Steven Furtick
For today's article I want to cover a few things that Pastor Steven Furtick said that I believe to be unbiblical. This posts is a warning to all Chirstian's to always be comparing what teachers say with scripture so as to not be deceived.

Legalism Vs. Sanctification
Legalism - Commanding to Keep OT laws such as:
⦁ Commanding to abstain from "unclean meats"
⦁ Commanding to not rounding the corners of your beards
⦁ Commanding to not wear woolen and linen fabric mixed together
⦁ Old Testiment animal sacrifice
⦁ Having to physically keep the sabbath
Tradition/Commandments of men- Holding man-made rules on the same level of authority as scripture.
⦁ No instruments in worship (certain protestant churches)
⦁ plain clothing, married must grow beard/no mustach, no use of electricity (Amish)
⦁ Can't drink coffee, tea, or alcholhol (7th day advents, ellen white)
⦁ Can't bowl, golf, or watch any kind of tv, music or videogame.
⦁ Sunday dress/church as building/one pastor system/NT tithing, nominal baptizing, easy believism, must speak in tongues (Denominations) .
Sanctification Definition (google search)- the action or process of being freed from sin or purified.
"the process of sanctification takes deliberate action on our part"
While Justification is a one time event that takes place at conversion, sanctification is a lifelong process of growing in holiness.
Sanctification involves the Holy Spirit transforming us to become more like Christ by purging you of sin and iniquity and conforming you to the law of Christ (Gal 4:19, 2 Thes 2:13, 1 Pet 1:2, Gal 6:2).
On the other hand there are those that use God's grace as an excuse to sin. Here is some scripture refuting that notion.
Rom_6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
Jud_1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom_6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? see also Rom 13:8-10, Ezek 33:1-20, Ecc 7:16-17.

Should Christian's wear mask?
To whom it may concern, this essay is designed to inform the reader why I the author (Justin Horn) refuse to wear the mask that society deems necessary in order for me to do ordinary important tasks such as working or even to go on my weekly grocery run.
Although the bible tells servants to be obedient to their masters and to please them well in all things (Titus 2:9), and to submit to the higher powers (Romans 13:1-7), and to be subject to kings, governors (1Peter 2:13-14) and magistrates (Titus 3:1), their is an exception. If the boss in question tells you to do something that God forbids, then it is clear from scripture that you are to obey God rather than men. Examples include:
- The midwives who feared God and didn't murder the male babies (Exo 1:15-21).
- Shadrac, Meshach, and Abednego refusing to worship the image (Daniel Chapter 3).
- Daniel praying to God despite the Kings Edict (Daniel Chapter 6).
- The Disciples preaching Jesus' despite being warned not to (Acts 5:12-42).
