For Jesus The Amen: Why is Feminism so Bad? or the Unscriptural Problems with Feminism (Updated)

Today we will be discussing the problem of feminism in our culture. On the exterior Feminist say that they are after woman's rights, that they think woman should be treated the same as men. I agree that women should have rights and that we shouldn't judge someone based on their appearance. However I also realize that behind this candy coated well pleasing external shell is a more sinister, and dare I say sinister purpose. Although this post may be offensive to many individuals I can assure you that It is in your best interest to read it with an open mind, as you will see feminism's goal is destroy the family unit and place contempt between the husband and wife. In this study you will discover three things.

When did feminism start?
That woman actually have way more privileges than men, (which I agree is a good thing)
what are the un-scriptural teachings and problems with feminism?

Feminism's Origins

A) First wave feminism began around the end of the 18th century and dealt with issues such as a woman's right to vote, own land, and go to college. The issue that I have with this wave is why would a woman need to go to collage if she's a homemaker? Wouldn't giving the woman a right to vote undermine her husbands authority if they voted for competing candidates?

The second wave of Feminism which started around the 1960's focus was the workplace, consequently this is when a lot of women left their role as homemakers in order to pursue a career outside of the home . This is a problem because now we have both spouses out working, who is raising the kid's? This is the parents responsibility but is given over to the state school system (Deu 4:9-10, Eph 6:4). Children need to have their parents around. The second wave also fought for "woman's reproductive rights" in other words the right to murder their children, this was also around the time no fault divorce was passed.

The Third wave which began in the 1990's is responsible for the widespread immodest apparel that we see young ladies wearing today, it also demands complete gender fluidity. They teach that there is no difference between male and female. While I believe that men and women are equal in value and worth, this does not mean that they are the same both physically and mentally. Here are a few examples to show my point.

Men and Women see differently; men can track movement better while woman see shades of color better and have better peripherals than men do. Females tend to have better hearing, but men block out white noise. Men store fat between the organs while women around the abdomen. Women can verbally express emotions better, men thrive in conflict but women avoid it. We see this in children as well, as group of boys play rough and competitive; while the girls take turns and their play involves care-giving and relationships.

Concerning sexuality men seek young and beautiful women while a woman's focus is on status and stability. Men are more easily sexually aroused and their fantasies are usually purely visual while a women desires romance. After making love men will feel sleepy but women want to cuddle or talk. Fathers rough house and challenge their children while mothers coddle, comfort, and encourage their kids. So we can see that Men and Women have different strengths and abilities. To ask which one is better is like asking whether a spoon or a knife is better. A knife can cut steak better while a spoon can help you sip soup better.

The Illusion of Equal rights

B) Now let's go over what the feminists claim to be fighting for, equal rights with men. What they fail to realize though is that women already have way more privileges than men, and for the most part I'm not against these privileges; after all we should be courteous to women. Let me mention just a few then you can check out the link below if you want a ton more.

When on a date men should be the one to pay
If a woman commits a crime she will receive a lesser penalty than a man who committed the same crime.
Woman aren't drafted for war
for the most part woman are guaranteed custody of children in a divorce
concerning domestic violence there is way more help for women out there than men even though in the majority of cases the woman is the one who initiates it.
If the cops show up even if the woman is the abuser the man is the one who usually goes to jail.

Just FYI the wage gap between man and women is due to the fact that most women will choose to work less hours and more comfy jobs than men.

Conflicts Between Scripture and Feminism

Concerning a Woman's Role in Society

C) The first point that I want to address is that Feminism teaches that a woman's Success depends on her Career. In other words Feminists exalt the woman who works outside the home whilst looking down on women who stay home and raise kids like the bible teaches (Psa 113:9, 1 Timothy 5:14, Titus 2:5).

In Addition to the Titus 2:5 command for woman to be keeper at home. Here are 6 more reasons women should stay at home.

Until recently women would have to breastfeed their babies therefore they could only do work that would be possible with a baby/toddler by their side.
Unless interrupted by sorcery (Pharmakeia) a woman would be unable to work outside the home due to her period (Genesis 31:35, Leviticus 15:19).
It causes a submission/Authority issue when a wife has to obey her boss over her husband 1 Cor 11:3).
It's unloving to make the weaker vessel work just as hard as the man outside the home and then come home and clean 1 Pet 3:7)
It Will cause Neglect of the children when their parents are not around to raise them properly (Mal 2:15). Therefore negating the purpose of marriage.
It Emasculates men to have their wives be better providers than them. It's the husbands role and duty to protect and provide for the family (1 Tim 5:8, Eph 5:25)

Concerning Authority and Leadership in the Family

The next point I want to mention is that Feminists don't believe that the husband should be the head of the house hold. This is all a part of the fallen nature of man, could it be when God told Eve her desire shall be unto her husband he meant that she would desire to rule over him? Consider the parallel between Gen 3:16 and Gen 4:7. The bible teaches us that the man is the head of the household (Eph 5:22 -24, 1 Ti 3:5).

What Feminists Believe about Marriage

D) Member of the radical feminist group the redstockings, Sheila Cronin is quoted saying that she believes marriage needs to be abolished for women to be free. The bible teaches that the marriage bed is honorable (Hebrews 13:4).

The overall goal of feminism is to destroy marriage. Don't believe me check out the Declaration of Feminism (1971). It tells women that they need to get rid of marriage in order for them to be free, it further instructs feminist to encourage women to leave their spouses and not live singly with men. It instructs it's members to return to ancient female religions like witchcraft. This is encouraging women to commit fornication, idolatry, and witchcraft. It is most disturbing, as we know that those that do such won't inherit the kingdom (Gal 5: 19- 21).

Concerning Lesbianism, Abortion, and Other things

For further proof that feminism isn't Pro Christian consider what Annie Laurie Gaylor wrote in the humanist magazine. In the July - Aug 1988 Article titled Feminist Salvation she tells her readers to forget about the "mythical" Jesus and get their inspiration and encouragement from real women. For us Christians Jesus is Everything (Philippians 1:21).

The National Organization for Women Times says "The simple fact is that every woman must be willing to be identified as a lesbian to be fully feminist. My sarcastic response to that is yes your not for woman's rights until you strap on a male reproductive organ and pretend your a man (Romans 1:26). There are two reasons why Rockefeller funded the woman's Lib. So they could tax the other half of the population and so the state could raise the kids.

Some, if not most feminist would be for a woman going to war with men, and even fighting along side them on the battlefield; after all isn't a woman the same as a man? Here are 3 bible verses that show that this might not be the best idea (Jer 50:37, Jer 51:30, Nah 3:13).

Another problem that feminism causes is that it Promotes the emasculation of men. In today's culture how many able bodied men stays home with the kids while the women goes out to work. Women really do their husband a disservice by doing this as the effeminate won't be going to heaven (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). It really is a shame that women have been deceived into taking on both parts of the curse of Genesis 3. They not only have pain in childbearing but also desire to have all the hard, sweaty, painful work outside the home as well.

Here are seven other passages from scripture that contradict the teachings and beliefs of feminism.

When feminism says that it promotes equality between men and women it really means sameness. That women can and should do the same types of work a man does. The bible teaches that there are in fact differences between men and women. Take for example the book of Numbers chapter 30. It details the difference between when a man makes a vow as opposed to when a women does it.

You probably have surmised by now that feminism promotes the lgbt or as I heard one person say/text before the alphabet community. You may have heard of gender fluidity before, it's basically teaches that you are whatever you think you are aka men who think they are women, girls who think they are boys, and some people even identify as animals or babies. This may sound kinda harsh but this is a mental disorder. It's known as gender dysphoria which is the distress a person feels when the sex/gender they are given at birth doesn't match what gender they identify with. The bible teaches that it's a abomination to wear clothes of the opposite sex (Dt 22:5). Isaiah 45:9-10 pronounces woe to those who strive with their maker. Sex is what people go by, gender is what's for languages.

We also see that women leadership over the man isn't a good thing in Isa 3:11-12, where it says that " they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.". Nowadays a women that pursues a career over having kids is seen as a good thing it reminds me of Luk 23:29. This is where Jesus says (more or less) that the days are coming where they shall say blessed are the barren, and the wombs which never bare.

Nowadays feminist women want to be independent and live apart from men. Man hating is a common thing amongst radical feminist but the bible teaches that the woman was created for the man (1Cor 11:9). I've heard the excuse as to why many women work at public jobs outside the home is because "nowadays it takes two incomes to raise a family". This simply isn't true. The reason why it generally takes two incomes is because of peoples covetousness in other words consumerism. Instead of buying products that last for many years people buy cheap things that break in a couple of weeks/months so they end up having to buy them again. Also people want alot of things that they simply do not need, covetousness is also called idolatry in scripture which invokes God's wrath (Col 3:5-6).

The last point that I would like to address is the statement of the Feminist Majority Foundation. They teach that "abortion is a necessity for millions of women worldwide... for their dreams of a better tomorrow". The fact is no woman has the right to take another person's life (Exodus 20:13). I will cover the topic of abortion in another post so I won't go over this now. Children are a blessing not a burden (Psa 127:3).

Eze 16:44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

Eze 16:45 Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.

So in conclusion we see that as Christians we must be opposed to feminism as it's beliefs and teachings clash with the truths of scripture. We should be ready to teach others that feminism doesn't support women but rather lies to and oppresses them. It makes a women think that in order to be happy she must pursue a career instead of family.
