Hello again, dear readers. For today I just want to list bible verses as they pertain to the constellations of our universe some of these verses are to be taken literally while others are a metaphor, i.e Jesus as the bright and morning star.
Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
(Gen 15:5) And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
(Gen 26:4) And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
(Gen 37:9) And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.
(Exo 10:21) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.
(Exo 22:3) If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.
(Exo 22:26) If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:
(Lev 22:7) And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.
(Num 24:17) I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.
(Num 25:4) And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel.
(Deu 4:19) And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.
(Deu 10:14) Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
(Deu 10:22) Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.
(Deu 16:6) But at the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name in, there thou shalt sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the sun, at the season that thou camest forth out of Egypt.
(Deu 17:3) And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
(Deu 23:11) But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
(Deu 24:15) At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
(Jos 1:4) From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
(Jos 10:12) Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
(Jdg 5:31) So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
(1Sa 11:9) And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.

(1Ki 8:27) But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
(2Ki 17:16) And they left all the commandments of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made a grove, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
(2Ki 23:5) And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
(1Ch 27:23) But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
(2Ch 2:6) But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him?
(2Ch 33:3) For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
(Neh 9:23) Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they should go in to possess it.
(Job 3:9) Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
(Job 22:12) Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!
(Job 31:26) If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;

(Psa 104:2) Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
(Psa 136:5) To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
(Psa 136:9) The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
(Psa 147:4) He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
(Psa 148:3) Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
(Pro 3:19) The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
(Ecc 1:5) The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
