What does the bible say about Adversity!

Today I feel like writing about Adversity, Hardship, Tribulation and the like. Yes life certainly has it's up's and down's, but without difficult times how else will we learn to trust God?

What's so bad about Lying?

Right now I would like to go over some bible passages that talk about the terrible sin of lying. First off, It's great to know that God can't lie (Tit 1:2, Heb 6:18). This is foundational to the Christian's faith, for if God could lie we wouldn't be able to trust his word the bible.

Today I want to discuss why I believe Christians should be careful of what kind of Television/Video games they watch/play, as well as how often they enjoy them. I believe that this is an important study because the bible teaches that the light of the body is the eye, if your eye is evil your whole body will be full of darkness (Mat 6:22-24), and scripture also instructs us to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Cor 10:5).
