My Beliefs

Who I Am

Hello, my name is Justin and I am a Christian who loves reading and studying the King James Bible. I have been a Christian for 19 years. I continue to work hard at this blog because I think it's important not only to witness to the world about Jesus (Mark 16:15), but also to help young Christians grow in the faith and to help them avoid false doctrine.

What I Believe

I believe the KJV is by far the best and most accurate translation for the English language.

I believe the earth is very young (around 6,000 years).

I believe that Salvation comes only through Jesus Christ. Salvation is obtained by grace through faith, and works is the proof of faith, an effect of salvation. (Eph 2:8-10)

That there are many, many false religions out there including ones that claim to be Christian. (Act 20:29-30)

That you can have Church anywhere and that you don't have to go to a Church building.

Comments are welcome so long as their is no profanity.

What Is This Blog About?

This blog is comprised primarily of 5 sections. These sections are Religions, Bible Topics, Addressing Bible Contradictions, Bible Perversion, And Creation Science. So why do I write about these particular things? Here's why.

Section #1 Creation Science - I write articles regarding the creation vs evolution controversy because I know there are countless children growing up today in public schools that are being taught that there is no God, no afterlife, that we are descended from monkeys. This kind of worldview in addition to being scientifically impossible, breeds hopelessness, depression, hedonism, lasciviousness, hatred/racism, pride, just to name a few. According to Darwinian evolution life ultimately has no purpose or meaning. Scripture warns us to beware of those who would spoil us through philosophy and vain deceit.  We are also told not to give heed to fables and endless genealogies (reminds me of the term pre historic), which minister questions instead of godly edifying which is in faith. As a Christian I am concerned about having an answer for every man of the hope that is in me and I desire to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
The goal of this section is to highlight evidence that shows the universe had an intelligent designer and that it was created only about 6000 years ago.
Col 2:8, 1Tim 1:4, 1Pet 3:15, Jud 1:3

Section #2 False Religions - Are you a seeker of truth? I am. There are so many religions and denominations out there today. These religions attempt to answer some of the bigger questions in life. The problem is that they all say different things, sure there are some similarities between them but many of them contradict. Since all these religions contradict each other, only one can be true.
We are to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring into obedience every thought to the obedience of Christ. So how do we know that we know God? It's simple those that do God's commandments know and love God. The apostle John stated that he had no greater joy that to hear that his children walk in truth.

The Goal of  this section is to highlight the Moral flaws of these world religions by comparing them with the holy scriptures.

2 Cor 10:5, 1Joh 2:3-5, 1 Joh 5:3, 3 Joh 1:3-4

Section #3 Addressing Bible Contradictions-
There are certain people (such as atheists or Muslims) who will say that the bible contains errors and contradictions. While this is true of some man made translations, it is this authors belief that God has preserved his word in at least some languages including English, and I am prepared to defend this position. We have people saying the bible contains errors because these folks are representative of the natural man which do not receive the things of the Spirit of God, these things are spiritually discerned. The god of this world (satan) has blinded the minds of those that believe not. It is my hope that God gives you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him. It is my goal that by sound doctrine I may exhort and convince the gainsayers. It is the unlearned and unstable that wrest the scriptures unto their own destruction. The goal of this section is to help the reader understand scripture.

1Cor 2:13-14, 2 Cor 4:1-4, Eph 1:17-18, Tit 1:9, 2 Pet 3:16

Section #4 Bible Perversion - While I believe this is not an issue for Christians to divide over, it nonetheless needs to be addressed as reading and following the word of God is one of the most important things a Christian can do. We see that Paul told the church at Corinth to speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among them but they be perfectly joined together in the same mind and judgment. The bible says that many corrupt the word of God. When someone makes a bible translation that contains verses that say different things than the ancient manuscripts say this is an example of corruption. The reason I address the bible perversion issue is because these faulty translations cause people to believe lies and they also hide God's true words from his sheep. I am commanded that if I love God then I must love my brothers also. Those that add or take away from God's word are going to be in deep trouble come judgment day. The goal of this section is to discern the word of God from the word of men.

1 Cor 1:10, 2 Cor 2:17, 1 Joh 4:21, Rev 22:15

Section #5 - Bible Topics

One of my most favorite things to do is collect and organize bible verses based on subject. It is great to read the bible regularly but when you get to compare bible verses  from various books of the bible it is quite exciting to see how they support each other or help to shed light on difficult passages, etc. Nowadays there are many false teachers out there, even ones that claim to be Christ followers. These wolves In sheep's clothing twist, distort, misinterpret, and take scriptures out of context from whence cometh false doctrine. It's only by careful study of God's word and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that we can discern truth from error and guard ourselves from believing false doctrine. Below I list several verses that demonstrate why I believe it's important to have a bible topic section on my blog.

Rom 12:1-2, Rom 15:14, 1 Cor 14:20, Ep 5:17, Phili 1:9-10, Col 1:9-10, 1 Tim 4:16, 2 Tim 2:14-15, 2Tim 2:24, Tit 2:7
