Geocentricity and Creation

Today's short article is regarding the geocentric vs heliocentric model of our solar system. The former states that the earth is stationary and the planets revolve around it and the latter says that all the planets in the solar system revolve around the sun. So which is true?

In modern secular schools today we see that kids are taught that the helio centric model is correct and true while the geocentric model is false, even though alot of attempts to prove this were made right up until the early 1900's. All such attempts however were not successful.

The most well known of which is the Michelson-Morley experiment. It was created to measure the change in the speed of light, because of the assumed movement of the earth through outerspace, when measured in various directions on the surface of the earth. The thing is they couldn't detect any significant change.

It is assumed by the theory of special relativity that the speed of light is the same at all places irregardless of the observer and the relative motion of the source of the light. According to Einstein's theory of general relativity both the geo and helio models are considered equally possible, because it claims that it's impossible for a human onlooker to conclude that any material body is in a state of absolute rest.

To conclude it is this author's personal opinion that the geocentric model is correct due to bible verses such as Josh 10:12-13, 1 Sam 2:8, 1 Chro 16:30, Psa 19:4-6, Psa 93:1, Psa 104:5, and Ecc 1:5 which show that the sun is the one that moves and the earth is stationary. However I'm not about to go around calling everyone an heretick for not sharing my views on this particular subject. This is because I must go by the book and nowhere in the bible does it explicitly say that the earth is the center of the universe.
