To all my readers, just letting Y'all know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I have spent most of my ministry work this year posting on Instagram. I do plan on making more post to this blog in the near future, as to the frequency; I cannot promise much. As to the subject matter, Lord Jesus willing, I plan on posting about health tips for Several articles coming up. They will probably be short reads with relevant links posted at the bottom.

Also, in case anyone didn't notice I also set up a Teespring account, So in case anyone is looking for some Christian based Merchandise; consider the Support page at the top right of the screen. While I don't accept donations, if anyone decides to buy something from my Teespring store, I will get a portion of the costs.

The Message Bible (Why It's a Mess) updated

Do you know which verse corruptions these images are depicting? (omit the top lightning strike, i removed that verse).

Scripture quotations marked MSG are taken from The Message, copyright © 1993, 2002, 2018 by Eugene H. Peterson. Used by permission of NavPress. All rights reserved. Represented by Tyndale House Publishers.

Well hello again viewers, for today's article I will be exposing Eugene Peterson's the message. The message bible is a paraphrase when came out in pieces from 1993 to 2002. Now a paraphrase Isn't a literal word for word translation, therefore we shouldn't expect it to match bibles such as the kjv or even the NIV exactly. If you have been a reader of my material for some time. You may have noticed that I tend to focus on bible verses that have a change in meaning. This will be no different. As this will be one if not the last articles that I publish on the bible version issue, I decided to take the time to color the verses (yet again) for your reading convenience.

If I do decide to cover another translation it will probably be something like 10 verses the KJV may have mistranslated. Don't get me wrong I believe the KJV is probably the best English translation out there but my stance on it being 100 % inerrant has changed from complete certainty to it may have some errors, but I digress. Back to the topic at hand. I estimate there are about 50 to 80 verses to cover here with that said I hope you guys enjoy this in depth post on the message bible. As usual KJV verses will be in blue while the translation I will be exposing in red.

Gen 3:17  And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
Genesis 3:17-19 "...painful as having babies..." (MSG)
Working is Painful but not that much.

Gen 26:8  And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
Gen 26:8 sporting changed to "fondling"(MSG)
Not very Kid friendly! Also not the Same meaning e.g. Pro 26:19

Gen 28:12  And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
Gen 28:10-12 "stairway"  (MSG)

Gen 37:4  And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
Gen 37:4 "...wouldn't even speak to..."(MSG)
Change in meaning

Exo 4:25  Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
Exodus 4:24-26  "...touched Moses' member..."(MSG)
That so could be taken the wrong way.

Num 4:6  And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
Numbers 4:5-6 "...dolphin skin..."(MSG)
Different Animal.

Num 16:32  And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
Num 16:31-33"...all the human beings connected with..."(MSG)
contradiction see (Num 26:11)

Mistakes in the English Standard Version?

Can you match the bible verse with the pictures above?

I hope you all are doing well, everyone. 2001 was when this translation was published, it is a word for word translation. As we are nearing the end of the Bible Version Expose' (all that's left is to published the Message review,) I've decided to go ahead and color these verses like most others.  KJV will be in blue and ESV in Red. How many verses are we going to cover? Somewhere around fifty or so. I do hope ya'll enjoy.

Gen 10:8  And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
Gen 10:8 "...first on earth to be a mighty..." (ESV)
This passage contradicts Gen 6:4

Gen 17:19  And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
Gen 17:19 "God said, "No, but Sarah...'"(ESV)
This version seems to have God contradicting himself concerning Ishmael (see Gen 17:20).

Gen 20:16  And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.
Gen 20:16 changed reproved to "vindicated"(ESV)
These have opposite meanings.

Gen 49:10  The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Gen 49:10 changed Shiloh to "tribute"(ESV)
Some Christians believe Shiloh is a reference to Christ.

Num 23:21  He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
Num 23:21 changed iniquity and perverseness to "misfortune" and "trouble"(ESV)
This is switching something that is wicked with the results of wickedness.

Jdg 4:18  And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said unto him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; fear not. And when he had turned in unto her into the tent, she covered him with a mantle.
Jdg 4:18 changes mantle to "...rug."(ESV)

Jdg 5:30  Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
Jdg 5:30 "...A womb or two for every man;..." (ESV)
A woman is more than just a womb.

The New World Translation Examined

Hello again, for this installment of the Bible Perversion Series, we will be taking a look at the New World Translation of the Scriptures. This is the bible the Jehovah's Witnesses use. This will be one of my shortest articles on the subject of bible versions.

Gen 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 1:2 changes Spirit of God to "God's active force" (NWT)
They changed this because JW's don't think the Holy Spirit is a person.

Matthew 2:11, 8:2, 9:18, 14:33, Mark 5:6, John 9:38, Hebrews 1:6,etc changed "worship" to "obeisance". (NWT)
Because JW's teach that Jesus isn't God but Micheal the archangel they can't have people worshiping him because they think that would be idolatrous. So they instead water it down to obeisance like the kind Moses gave his father in law (see Exodus 18:7).

Why you shouldn't read The Living Bible

Can you spot which verses these pics are referring to?

For today's article we are going to be taking a look at the Living Bible, or so it's called. If it's called thus, why is there a NLT? Anyway this is a paraphrase by Kenneth Taylor that was published in 1971. I'm not saying anyone is a Non-Christian for reading this or any translation for that matter; I just want to issue a warning that many bibles have some very serious changes to the texts which could lead to someone being led away or believing some false doctrine. In this example, I would say a paraphrase shouldn't be your regular study bible, If you don't like the KJV, then I would at least suggest a more literal word-for-word translation.

As usual I will be quoting the KJV in blue and quoting the living bible in red.

Gen 18:15  Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
Genesis 18:15 removed ...And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
I guess since this is a paraphrase this will be expected. Still removing from the bible is a serious crime see Deut 4:2.

Gen 19:5  And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Gen 19:5 "...rape them." (TLB)
You lose a little bit of the meaning by changing know to rape, as this implies that the abomination of Sodom wasn't lying with the same gender consensual or otherwise.

Gen 30:27  And Laban said unto him, I pray thee, if I have found favour in thine eyes, tarry: for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake.
Gen 30:27 "...fortune-teller that I consulted..."  (TLB)
These are two different ways to find something out, one is obviously wrong.

Lev 18:23  Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Leviticus 18:23 "...female animal...male animal..."   (TLB)
Doesn't condemn lying with the same gender animal. Why the unnecessary addition of female and male?

What's wrong with the Good as New Bible Version

For today's short post, I will be addressing the UK's Good as New Translation. Although I won't be covering alot of verses, the ones I do address will be significant to persuade any veteran Christian not to purchase this bogus excuse for a bible.

John Henson, ed., Good As New: A Radical Retelling of the Scriptures. New Alresford, Hampshire (U.K.): O Books (Imprint of John Hunt Publishing), 2004. ISBN: 1903816734.

Mat 3:4  And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
Matt 3:4 "...carob nuts and tree sap."  (GAN)
That's not what the manuscripts said that he ate!

Mat 3:9  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Matt 3:9 "...out of people you've no more regard for than these stones!"(GAN)
I thought that John was talking about the literal stones around him, didn't you?

Mat 3:11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Matt 3:11 "...and that will be like fire."(GAN)
Given the contexts Matt "3:12" I think that John is comparing the saved and the lost. Jesus baptizes the saved with the Holy Spirit and the damned with fire, aka hell and the lake of fire.

Mat 3:16  And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Matt 3:16 "...She was like a pigeon..."(GAN)
The Holy Spirit isn't female see John 16:13.

Mat 4:3  And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Matt 4:3 "The thought came to him..."(GAN)
Is this translation trying to pretend that the devil doesn't exist? It switches the devil with Jesus' thoughts!!!

Mat 4:5  Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Matt 4:5 "...mind's eye..."(GAN)
Sounds like New Age Occult / Hinduism terminology to me.

Mat 5:27  Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
Matt 5:27 "Don't take away someone else's partner"(GAN)
This change seems to condone unmarried people (both heterosexual and homosexual) to "shack up".

Problems With The New American Standard Version

Which Verse is this Picture referring to?

For Today's post, I'm going to sharing 20+ verses from the NASB bible. As you can see from the copyright below, this translation has had many changes to it, but we are just going to be going over the 95 version. I hope you all enjoy this post. Let's begin.

"Scripture taken from the NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE(R), Copyright (C) 1960,1962,1963,1968,1971,1972,1973,1975,1977,1995 by The Lockman Foundation. Used by permission."

Gen 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1 "...the heavens..."  (NASB95)
A change from singular to plural.

Gen 6:4  There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Gen 6:4 changes giants to "The Nephilim..."  (NASB95)
*** This Authors previous belief and reasoning***
"There is this thing called the Nephilim theory which says that the fallen angels bred with the ancient women that created devil/human hybrids. In my opinion this theory is untrue; instead I believe the fossil record which shows that there were giants in the earth in those days. There are a few reasons why I don't believe the Nephilim theory and here they are.

1. Why would a devil marry a human instead of just rape/sleep with them? 2. Lost men are known as children of the devil (Joh 8:44), wouldn't fallen angels fall into that category as well? 3. sons of God are a title for the saved/those led by the Spirit (Joh 1:12, Rom 8:14, Php 2:15, 1 Joh 3:1-2). 4 The devil Isn't referred to as a son of God (Job 1:6, Job 2:1), why would devils?"

"Authors Current Belief and Reasoning"
I am now quite certain The sons of God in Genesis 6 could very well be a heavenly host that became fallen when they went after human women. I will give 3 reasons why this could be the case...
1. The simple contrast of the verse sons of God vs daughters of Men( In Hebrew its adam which means mankind).
2. The books of Jude and 2 Peter 2 seem to Collaborate this interpretation.
3. 1st century Roman-Jewish Historian Josephus held this view, and you can also find this interpretation in the apocrypha, as well as in other sources.
See also The Unseen Realm by Micheal Heiser.

Gen 7:1  And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Gen 7:1 "...Enter the Ark..."  (NASB95)
Leviticus 11 changes many animals and leaves out (beetle, weasel, tortoise, swan)

2Sa 14:14  For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
2 Samuel 14:14 "...Yet God does not take away life..." (NASB95)
This isn't true (Deut 32:39, 1 Sam 2:6, 2 Sam 6:7).

The word on the street Review

For today's article I'd thought that I would share about 16 passages from the word on the street paraphrase by rob lacy. These verses will demonstrate that this "bible" is not of God and should not be read.

As you can see I have to be very careful how I handle this one because the material has some pretty strict copyright rules. So I'm going to keep this short. Like usual KJV is Blue and New Version is Red, My comments Black.

Gen 19:1  And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;

Genesis "...three angels give lot, his wife and his two daughters their marching orders..."

The text says it was two angels that entered Sodom, so factual error #1.

Gen 21:6  And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Gen 21:7  And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

Genesis 21:1-7 "...Who'd have thought, breastfeeding in my eighties!..."

Sarah was Ninety when she bare Isaac (Gen 17:17 ), factual error #2.

1Ch 21:1  And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

1Ch 21:2  And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

1Ch 21:3  And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord's servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

1Ch 21:4  Nevertheless the king's word prevailed against Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem.

1 Chronicles 10:1-22:16 "...It goes to his head: he thinks it's his numbers, his muscle, his strategy, his equipment  that pulling it all off..."

Nowhere in the passage does it insinuate that David was trusting in Carnal things like numbers or equipment! David had a perfect heart with the Lord 1King 15:3.

Neh 2:17  Then said I unto them, Ye see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lieth waste, and the gates thereof are burned with fire: come, and let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we be no more a reproach.

Neh 2:18  Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.

Nehemiah 2:1-20 "...Lets get some pride back!..."

Pride is Bad.

What's wrong with the Queen James Bible Version

Today's article will be covering specific bible changes in the apostate bible translation known as the Queen James Bible! This is just one of several altered bibles that I plan to address, so I'm not just picking on "gays".

Why to steer clear of the Clear Word Bible Updated.

Well hello again my readers, for this article I'm going to be taking a rather brief look at the Clear word bible in order to warn my readers to steer Clear of this particular work (pun intended). But first a little information on the clear word. It is classified as a paraphrase and has copyrights in 1994, 2000, 2003, and 2004. It was first publish in 1994. The Following are a few verses the 7th day Adventist changed in order to make the bible fit into their theology. I will post KJV in Blue and Clear word in Red.

1. Food Law
7th day Adventist promote vegetarianism and the eating of only the clean animals mentioned in the old testament Torah.
Gen 9:3  Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

"Many of these animals will provide food for you, and from now on, you may eat meat as well as vegetables." Gen. 9:3, TCW

1Ti 4:3  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4  For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5  For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

"Others will say that it's wrong to marry and to eat the good things God created which we should receive with gratitude. God created everything. Nothing should be rejected which He has said we can eat, and we should do so by offering thanksgiving and praise. These foods not only have the approval of the word of God, but will also be blessed by Him through our prayers."
1 Tim 4:3-5, TCW

Why the Contemporary English Version is a Poor Translation

Well hello again. In today's article I'm going to be checking out the CEV. The Complete CEV bible was published in 1995, it is of the Dynamic Equivalence type. What follows are dozens of verses exposing the differences between the KJV & the CEV. I apologize in advance for not coloring the verses as I wanted to release this article asap. As usual I will list the KJV first then follow with the newer bible. I hope y'all enjoy this piece.

Scripture quotations marked (CEV) are from the Contemporary English Version Copyright © 1991, 1992, 1995 by American Bible Society, Used by Permission.

Gen 4:24  If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
Genesis 4:24 "...punished ten times more..." (CEV)
77 fold is eleven times more.

Gen 12:6  And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.
Gen 12:6 "...the sacred tree..."(CEV)
The are several pagan cultures that have worshiped tree's; The Judaic/Christian religion shouldn't be one of them.

Gen 21:9  And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.
Gen 21:9 "...playing..."(CEV)
This newer translation sure portrays Ishmael in a more positive light than the KJV as to mock someone is much crueler than to play with them. (see Gal 4:29).

Exo 4:25  Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
Exo 4:26  So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
Exodus 4:25,26"..."My dear son, this blood will protect you." So the Lord did not harm Moses..."(CEV)
Wait..What!?! So who was it that was protected, the child or Moses?

Exo 32:25  And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
Exo 32:25 "...made fools of themselves in front of their..."(CEV)
This translation forgets to mention that they were naked in this passage.

Lev 4:3  If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
Leviticus 4:3 "When the high priest sins, he makes everyone else guilty..."(CEV)
Where did they come up with that?

Lev 16:26  And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
Levi 16:26 "...sent...to the demon..."(CEV)
This is a very strange rendering of the text. Why would God have instructed Israel to have made an offering to a demon. It's very confusing indeed to have a translation in which sacrifices to demons is both condoned and condemned. I believe that would be a contradiction. Perhaps I'm just missing something here. I'm not going to spell the demon name.
(see Exo 22:20).

Lev 19:29  Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.
Lev 21:7  They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.
Levi 19:29, 21:7 "...temple prostitute..."(CEV)
Lev 21:14  A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
Lev 21:14 "...temple prostitute."(CEV)
Does God condemn prostitution in General or only religious prostitution?

The New Living Translation Exposed

Hello again, for this posts I will be going through several/many verses from the New Living Translation of the bible in order to show some discrepancies i have found in the text that differ from the KJV. As with my other articles the kjv will be in blue, while the New Version is in red. Before we begin with the examination I will go over some basic info on this bible. When was it made: the complete NLT was made in 1996 with revisions in 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2015. What type is it? Dynamic Equivalence which is the thought for thought kind of translation.

Gen 22:18  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Gen 22:18 changes seed to "...descendants..." (NLT)(see Galatians 3:16)
This is a prophecy about Jesus through whom all nations shall be blessed, not about the nations being blessed through a bunch of Abraham's offspring.

Deu 16:21  Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee.
Deu 16:21, grove changed to "Asherah pole"(NLT)

1Sa 6:19  And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the LORD, even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.
1 Samuel 6:19 "But the LORD killed seventy men..."(NLT)
There is a Huge # difference in the men that were killed.

2Sa 21:8  But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
2 Samuel 21:8 Michal changed to "Merab" (NLT)

2Ch 17:6  And his heart was lifted up in the ways of the LORD: moreover he took away the high places and groves out of Judah.
2Ch 19:3  Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.
2 Chronicles 17:6, 2 Chro 19:3 groves changed to "Asherah poles" (NLT)

Why the New King James is not the King James! updated

Scripture taken from the New King James Version®. Copyright © 1982 by Thomas Nelson. Used by permission. All rights reserved.

Good day readers, for this article i'm going to point out some problems with the NKJV of the bible in order to show how it is different from the regular  KJV. The NKJV is another word for word translation of the bible which in my opinion is the best kind of bible. However that is assuming that it is translated correctly and they don't leave stuff out. As I stated before in a previous article KJV is written in blue, New version is red, and my remarks are black.

Exo 16:28  And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
Exo 16:28 changes ye to "...you..."
Was God angry at Moses or Israel?

2Ki 23:29  In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
2 King 23:29 changes against to "...aid..."
Those are opposite meanings.

Good news Bible Unmasked!

Well, Hello again my viewers for today's article I'm going to cite some verses from the Good news bible and see if you can spot the problems that i am seeing with it. The good news translation new testament was first published in 1966 the old testament in 76. As the translation type it is of the Dynamic Equivalence variety. So this should be fun.

Scripture quotations marked (GNT) are from the Good News Translation in Today’s English Version- Second Edition Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society. Used by Permission.

Gen 13:18  Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the LORD.
Genesis 13:18, Gen 18:1 "...sacred trees..." (GNT)
(Makes me think of the Abomination of Christmas).

Gen 26:8  And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
Gen 26:8 "...making love."  (GNT)
(were they doing it right out in the open?)

Lev 15:3  And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
Leviticus 15:3 "...discharge from his penis..."(GNT)
(Not very kid friendly)

Exposing the Passion Translation Edited

For today's post, I will be going over 18 or so verses from the Passion "Translation". I use the brackets because this isn't real translation even though it says so. You will soon find out that Brian Simmons adds and changes the words of scripture. Most of this article will focus on the verse corruption themselves. For more information about the maker of the Passion translation please consider checking out the link below. I will make KJV IN BLUE, the PASSION in RED, and my comments in Black. I am going to list some other relevant information before we actually get into the scripture themselves. It would seem that the Passion translation is of the Dynamic Equivalence Type. It was first published in 2017.

I was researching the rules of Copyright on this particular bible and it turns out I could posts up to 250 verses but I won't even need a tenth amount of that amount to show you why this translation should be avoided at all costs! I will have to apologize in advance in I appear long winded in this article as another copyright guideline states the Passion quotes can only make up 20% of the work so I'm going to have to write quite a bit just to make sure I don't violate copyright guidelines.

Why you shouldn't read the NIV

Can You Find Which bible Verses these pictures are referring to?

Well, I hope everyone is having a good day. For today's post we are going to be examining the NIV bible and comparing it to the KJV to see how they line up. I will only be Adding complete kjv verses to the NIV passages were i list that they changed something, not to the ones were I just mention that they removed or omitted words/verses. This way hopefully my article won't be too long.

Gen 7:1  And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
Gen 7:1 "...Go into the ark..."
Where was God when He instructed Moses to Enter the Ark? Was he in the ark as the KJV implies or outside the Ark as this translation implies.

Gen 32:32  Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.
Gen 32:25 changes thigh to "...hip..."
Different part of the body.

Gen 38:9  And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
38:9 changes seed or it to "...semen..."
Not very kid friendly in my opinion.

Exo 6:3  And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.
Exodus 6:3 Replaces JEHOVAH with "...the LORD..."
(this makes God a liar, because Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did indeed call him Lord in Gen 18:27, Gen 27:20). If this passage is correct then the rest of the bible can't be trusted.

The Darby Translation Exposed (Updated}

Genesis 3:15 bruise changed to crushed
I might be a little nit picky with this one but Jesus' bones were never broken (Joh 19:36).

Gen 4:1 I have acquired a man with Jehovah
This makes it sound like eve and God did unmentionable things.

2Sa 21:19  And there was again a battle in Gob with the Philistines, where Elhanan the son of Jaareoregim, a Bethlehemite, slew the brother of Goliath the Gittite, the staff of whose spear was like a weaver's beam.
2 Sam 21:19 "...Elhanan killed Goliath..."  (1 chronicles 20:5)
Obvious Error! he actually killed Lahmi Goliath's brother. This passage would be a contradiction because David slew Goliath.

Proverbs 4:7 understanding changed to Intelligence
Matthew 4:1 led changed to carried   Mat 11:3 the coming One  (title of new age world teacher)
Mat 12:32 world changed to age   Mat 24:14 in the whole habitable earth
Luke 4:8 do homage
Not the Same as worship.

Luk 17:21 kingdom of God is in the midst of you
Luk 21:36 which are about to come to pass   Luk 24:46 from among the dead
John 6:69  the holy one of God
(title used only by devils in the KJV)
Joh 8:11 no one, sir
Joh 7:17 if any one desire to practise his will   Joh 14:16 And i will beg the Father

Differences in the New Revised Standard Version

Can You Find The Verse That This Pic is Referring To?

Hello again viewers, and welcome back. This will be just a short little article showing what your missing out on by not reading the KJV or another translation as you will soon find out the NRSV bible is lacking quite a few words when compared to some other bibles; specifically the KJV.

Mat 19:9  And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.
Matthew 19:9 removes the last 11 words

Mat 20:16  So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
Mat 20:16 omits for many be called, but few chosen.

Mat 24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:36 Adds "...nor the Son..."
Just because this teaching is in other places of scripture doesn't give the right to insert it here.

Mat 27:35  And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.
Matt 27:35 omits the last 25 words

What's the Matter with the New Century version

Well it's time again for another bible review. KJV is blue, NCV is red, my remarks in black. It's a long one so I will go ahead and keep this introduction short, enjoy!
Can you find the two bible changes that these pics are referring to?

Gen 12:19  Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.
Genesis 12:19 "...I made her my wife..."

Gen 18:5  And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
Gen 18:5 "...bread for you so you can regain your strength..."
Wasn't Abraham talking to God? Why would God need to regain his strength?

Exo 14:25  And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
Exodus 14:25 He kept the wheels of the chariots from turning..."
Quite a big difference from taking the wheels off.

Lev 26:13  I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
Leviticus 26:13 "...I let you walk proudly again."
Contradicts Hab 2:4  "Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith."

Num 16:32  And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
Numbers 16:32 "...all their families..."
Contradiction (Num 26:11).

Num 30:6  And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
Num 30:6 "If a woman makes a pledge...and then get married,"
This is not what this verse is supposed to say. It basically is supposed to say that if she had a husband when she vowed.

Why I don't read the Lexham English version

The Lexham English version is a relatively new translation as it is only a little over a decade old, it's style is the formal equivalence; which is the word for word type. With that being said, I found a few problems with it as y'all with soon find out. Please enjoy my little expose' on the Lexham bible.
Can You Match The Picture With The Verse?

Gen 9:4  But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Genesis 9:4 "...raw flesh with blood in it}."  (LEB)
Some people think that you can cook the blood out of meat, that is not so, you must drain the blood out.

Exo 1:16  And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.
Exodus 1:16 "...look upon the pairs of testicles..."  (LEB)
Where do they come up with this stuff?

Ezr 1:9  And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,
Ezra 1:9 "...twenty nine vessels,"   (LEB)
Should say knives

Neh 5:5  Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for other men have our lands and vineyards.
Nehemiah 5:5 "...our daughters being molested..."    (LEB)
They were being brought under bondage, the way this version puts it , it sounds like pedophilia was going on.

Questionable changes in the Revised Standard Version (updated)

Well hello again my dear readers. Today I am rereleasing my article on The RSV EXPOSED.
I wanted to make sure I am within copyright guidelines. The RSV was publish in 1952, and as far as I know it contains all 66 books of scripture. It is a word for word translation.   The RSV quotes will be in red, kjv in blue and my comments in black, Ok lets begin.

Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
Genesis 1:5 "...one day." RSV
Gen 1:8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
...a second day." RSV
By changing the first day to one day this leaves room for proponants of the gap theory to insert their idea that their was a separate creation before the first week of Genesis.

Gen 9:20  And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
Genesis 9:20 "...Noah was the first tiller of the soil..." RSV
(What about Cain, Gen 4:12)

Exo 21:22  If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
Exodus 21:22 changes fruit depart from her to "...miscarriage..." RSV
I personally thought that fruit depart from her meant that the baby was delivered / premature birth, whereas a miscarriage always means the baby died. If my premise is true then that means a life inside the womb is = to someone already born.

Judges 15:19 removed ...that was in the jaw...

2Sa 5:21  And there they left their images, and David and his men burned them.
2 Samuel 5:21 "...carried them away." RSV
This makes it seem like David kept the idols, thus committing idolatry.  (1chro 14:12)

2Sa 24:13  So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.
2 Sam 24:13 "... three years..." RSV
My guess is because they didn't know that that supposed bible contradiction was actually cleared up quite easily.

1Ki 10:8  Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
1 Kings 10:8 changed men to "...wives..." RSV

X-Men: Best defined by Evolution or Sorcery?

Growing up one of the popular tv shows that I enjoyed as a kid was the X-men cartoon and live action movies. Supposedly these "hero's" got their abilities through mutations caused by Evolution. Now we know there are very few if any actual beneficial mutation examples in the real world; however this posts isn't going to focus so much on the creation evolution debate but rather show that the abilities of some of these characters are best explained by the biblical worldview (aka are supernatural & the works of Satan) and not something that we would expect animals of the real world to be able to acquire.

Disclaimer: I strongly urge my readers to pray before looking at any of the references provided as they contain clips of magicians practicing witchcraft. I don't want to be the cause of a spiritual attack so watch at your own risk.

A few Problems with the Mirror Bible

Hello viewers, for this posts I'd thought that I would highlight some errors of the Mirror translation.

First I will give a brief description of the translation then I will list a few verses I found problematic and suggest my readers to check out; then I will explain why I think translation is not something real Christians should approve of.

The Supremacy of Christ

For this small post, I would like to highlight a some bible passages that show us that we must always put God first; even over our own family, yes even our spiritual family.

Understanding what Church Is (updated)

There seems to be a misconception today as to what the church really is, many Christians think of a white building with a cross and a sign out front when the word church comes to mind. Is this definition accurate, not really. ? Only Somewhat.
